The situation of unequal participation of girls and women in social economic activities in our communities. Woman and Girls comprise the largest and fastest growing segment of unprivileged population in united republic of Tanzania. Yet they remain subjected to social-economic inequalities among community members struggling in the shadows with;
a) Lack of self-esteem and confidence.
b) Lack of information.
c) Lack of good learning infrastructure.
d) Lack of technical knowledge and skills and
e) Poor access to technology.

RIGHTS TO EDUCATION: Binti Darasani Project Is the FOEPAGIWO education rights initiative of” Girls must learn”, intended to reach the girls who live a vulnerable life and also fail to acquire education despite having free education in primary and secondary level. Binti Darasani Project facilitates their education career, as we believe education is the key to supporting girls and women to become future leaders and contribute to the wellbeing of their families and societies to a sustainable future.
PROMOTE GIRL’S ACCESS TO REPRODUCTIVE HEALTH CARE SERVICES AND FACILITIES: Binti na Hedhi Salama Project, It is a project running by FOEPAGiWo, whereby our mentors visit girls at different schools to teach them reproductive health education, body healthy and distribute Menstrual Hygiene products.
ERADICATE VIOLENCE AGAINST WOMEN AND GIRLS: Binti Na Tokomeza Ukatili Project, In Tanzania, 75% of women and girls who are from vulnerable families are survivors of domestic violence, neglect, experience harmful cultural practices like female genital mutilation (FGM), forced marriage, and early pregnancies. FOEPAGIWO educate and empower girls and women who are unprivileged with the skills and confidence necessary for them to be resilient, determined, self-independent, and good ambassadors to the rest of the women and girls in the community.
Girls Day Out (GDO): Most of the girls from vulnerable families experience violence which sometimes hinder their self-esteem therefore their participation in social life tends to be deprived. Through this program these girls get the opportunity to visit various places where they get access to learn and explore new environments away from their homes. Through this program girls tend to improve their confidence, learn to interact with others, and release emotional thoughts which sometimes interfere with their academic performance.
LIVELIHOOD SKILLS TRAINING FOR GIRLS & WOMEN: Wanawake Kwanza Project, The project provides alternative life skills training for over 100 girls and women to improve their living standards. The project advocates the objective of extending training that enhances sustainable employment for girls and women from vulnerable families.
